Shaun Keegan

Founder & CEO

Together with co-founder Corey Gross, Shaun Keegan started Solar Landscape in 2012 by installing solar panels on commercial rooftops. Today, Solar Landscape is a national company that provides solar energy at a discount to thousands of households. As CEO, Shaun leads Solar Landscape’s growth and partnership strategies. Using his experience building Solar Landscape from a solar installer to owner and operator of more than 200 megawatts of solar energy, Shaun has connected America’s commercial real estate leaders with solutions that achieve ESG goals, promote community engagement and drive client customer revenue. He has a longstanding personal interest in social justice issues and co-founded the company to enable his employees to create meaningful careers and support their families for the long-term.

Corey Gross

Founder & COO

As COO and co-founder, Corey is passionate about creating a healthy, sustainable future for generations to come. He oversees product selection/procurement, project management and Operations & Maintenance and is closely involved in execution on the project level. From what started as a team of four installers, including himself and co-founder Shaun Keegan, Corey has grown the company’s full-time team of installers and electricians to more than 55 people. He is a respected, hands-on manager who encourages quality workmanship and having pride in bringing clean energy to communities and businesses.

Mark Schottinger

President & Chief Legal Officer

As President, Mark oversees Solar Landscape’s transactions (including leases, power purchase agreements, and financing), project development, regulatory matters, and public policy. Prior to joining Solar Landscape, Mark practiced law at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, DC, and earned his law and undergraduate degrees from the University of Virginia.

Clayton Avent

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Clayton manages Solar Landscape’s solar asset portfolio, capital structure and relationships with tax equity investors and financiers. Prior to joining Solar Landscape, Clayton worked in corporate strategy at wind-turbine manufacturer Vestas, and completed a three-year CFO development program at Siemens. He has worked in Europe and Mexico in various finance roles and segments of the energy industry. He earned an MBA in Finance & Strategy and a Master of Energy & Environment from Duke University. Clayton is passionate about using finance to enable the clean energy transition in a way that benefits business, people and the environment.

Elizabeth McKeever

General Counsel

As General Counsel, Elizabeth is responsible for Solar Landscape’s day-to-day legal affairs and compliance. Elizabeth has spent over fifteen years focused on solar and battery storage energy project development, construction, operation, and maintenance, as both a transactional and regulatory attorney, as well as a former public utility commission staffer and lobbyist. Born and raised in New Jersey, where she is now raising her own family, Elizabeth is a clean energy advocate and community leader having served on various local boards and commissions. She earned her law degree from Cornell Law School and her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.

Blaise Cote

Chief Strategy Officer

Blaise serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Solar Landscape, the leading commercial and community solar developer in the United States.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Blaise is responsible for corporate development, budgeting, operating model design, recruiting, performance management and PR/communications. He also leads the company’s consumer-facing community solar division.

Prior to joining Solar Landscape, Blaise was a Partner at BCG, where he led over 50 engagements for multinational consumer-facing companies on commercial strategy, operations and M&A. He also served in formal career development and recruiting roles at BCG and was a core member of the Consumer and Corporate Finance & Strategy practice areas. Blaise earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Duke University.

Paulo Perillo

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Paulo leverages his experience in renewable energy project development and technology integration to spearhead strategic innovation, streamline operations, and optimize business applications for solar and energy storage development. In his previous role as the Head of Engineering and Automation at Safari Energy (Aspen Power), Paulo developed renewable energy projects for numerous Fortune 500 companies while playing a key role in enhancing organizational efficiency through the implementation of automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. Paulo holds an MS in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Brasília, Brazil.

Ann Marie Toss

Executive Vice President, Community Solar

Ann Marie is responsible for oversight of community engagement and community solar subscriber acquisition and management. She has more than ten years of experience in the restructured electricity and natural gas markets across over a dozen US states. She has primarily overseen residential customer operations and regulatory compliance. Ann Marie earned an MAR from Yale Divinity School and a sustainability-focused MBA from the Yale School of Management. Ann Marie’s personal dedication to social justice and a renewable energy future drive her dedication to advancing energy equity.

Kevin Dunshee

Chief Commercial Officer

Kevin oversees the company’s nationally-recognized Solar Training and Educational Partnership for Underserved Populations (STEP-UP) workforce development team. He is also responsible for the Solar Landscape’s municipal engagement and outreach to affordable housing providers and other community-based organizations. A former educator and corporate trainer, Kevin uses his more than 40 years of experience working with New Jersey corporations and 501(c)(3) organizations to support Solar Landscape’s mission to develop healthier communities by creating employment opportunities, reducing carbon emissions, lowering utility costs, and providing more resilient local infrastructure. Kevin holds a BA degree from Monmouth University.

Susannah Churchill

Western Policy Director

As Western Policy Director, Susannah advocates for effective and equitable community solar policies in Western states. Susannah has been active in clean energy policy development in the West for over 20 years. In previous roles, she directed advocacy for environmental nonprofits including Vote Solar, and worked as staff at the California Public Utilities Commission and Commissioner advisor at the California Energy Commission. Susannah earned her Masters in Public Policy from UC Berkeley, and loves exploring the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kristen Brandt

Vice President, ESG & Sustainability

Kristen spearheads the company’s initiatives to enhance performance and establish itself as a sustainability leader in the industry. With a robust background in building and scaling mission-driven startups, Kristen brings over 15 years of experience, specializing in the commercial solar and renewable energy sector for the past decade. Alongside providing ESG guidance to the business development team, she collaborates closely with corporate marketing, community partnerships, and workforce development teams to craft impactful renewable programs for prominent commercial real estate companies. Kristen’s expertise lies at the intersection of clean energy, commercial real estate, and sustainability, leveraging her knowledge to drive sustainable change. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.

Eric Boehm

Senior Vice President, Operations

Eric spearheads the company’s Operations team, overseeing the seamless execution of engineering, interconnection, procurement, construction, startup, safety, and quality processes across a diverse, growing portfolio of projects nationwide.

Eric has navigated projects in more than 20 markets throughout the United States, consistently delivering results in utility scale, distributed generation, community solar, commercial and industrial, and storage initiatives. He previously held positions at renewable energy and construction companies such as CS Energy and The Conti Group. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University.

Eric is propelled by his deep understanding of the renewable energy sector and his unwavering commitment to operational excellence.

Lucas Titolo

Vice President, Engineering

Lucas leads the engineering department for all markets and portfolios, guiding the team from early-stage design through permitting and construction.

After college, Lucas jumped right into the solar industry at NYC-based developer doing similar commercial solar work. After 4 years of design and engineering, he moved on to Solar Landscape to develop their engineering team from the ground up.

He is passionate about building a team that can implement tools and technical expertise into reality alongside Solar Landscape’s EPC team and using these tools to bring affordable energy to communities around the country.

Lucas received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University where he was first introduced to solar energy in a master’s level future energy systems course.

Purvi Patel

Vice President, Accounting

Purvi Patel manages the accounting team which oversees all the financial accounting and reporting functions, including corporate and project accounting, reporting, financial covenant compliance, internal controls, external audits, and risk management. She brings over 10 years of progressive accounting and portfolio management experience to Solar Landscape. Prior to joining Solar Landscape, Purvi worked as Controller at Nautilus Solar Energy. She started her career in public accounting at KPMG and Grant Thornton and then moved to renewable energy industry in 2015.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience across Solar, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, sports and entertainment and technology industries, including operational accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, compliance, technical accounting, and performance improvement. She holds a BS in Commerce and Economics from University of Mumbai, India and is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Brendon Shank

Executive Vice President, Engagement

Brendon Shank helps tell Solar Landscape’s best stories about how solar on commercial rooftops contribute to our clean energy transition and social justice.

He joined in 2021 and oversees the company’s marketing, communications, and employee engagement. Prior to his role at Solar Landscape, Brendon was director of communications at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and worked in marketing and communications for national companies and nonprofits.

He graduated from American University in Washington, DC.

Tom Ganter

Director of Asset Management

Tom Ganter is the Director of Asset Management at Solar Landscape. He oversees the operations and performance of Solar Landscape’s 200 MW portfolio of solar assets, including community solar projects serving low- and moderate-income customers. Tom has over 10 years of experience in the solar industry, having previously worked as a Senior Solar Asset Manager at TerraForm Power and as an Asset Manager at Nautilus Solar Energy. He has managed the financial, technical, and contractual aspects of various solar projects across the U.S. and Canada, ranging from rooftop to ground-mounted systems. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College. He is passionate about renewable energy and its environmental and economic benefit.

Anjali Shah

Director of Human Resources

As the Director of Human Resources, Anjali oversees all aspects of HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, compliance, benefits administration, employee retention, payroll processing and immigration matters for the company. Anjali has over ten years of experience in human resources in the engineering and health care industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics from Rutgers University and worked as an IT professional for seven years before transitioning to the HR field. Anjali earned her Professional in Human Resources certification in 2018 from HRCI and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Anjali is committed to staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the field, regularly participating in professional development activities.

Kate Gold

Director of Talent Acquisition

With over 15 years of recruitment and education experience, Kate Gold assumes the unique role of Director of Workforce Development, leveraging her expertise to great effect. She spearheads Solar Landscape’s internal recruitment efforts, ensuring that we consistently attract the finest talent in the industry, allowing us to persist in our commitment to combat climate change. Throughout her work, she understands that creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where individuals are seen and heard is the cornerstone of a thriving culture. Driven by an unwavering passion for transforming lives through education and opportunities, Kate’s work allows her to bring climate change education to schools and facilitate green energy construction job training within communities.

Chris Krempecke

VP of Project Management

Chris is responsible for overseeing all installations as Vice President of Project Management. He is a performance-driven professional with the ability to lead teams and execute projects while ensuring safety and quality are never overlooked. Chris has 25+ years of experience in construction, with the last 14 focused entirely on solar & renewables. Prior to Solar Landscape, he spent time in project management and leadership roles at Powerflex (formerly EnterSolar), Tioga Energy, and Sundurance Energy. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rutgers University. Chris maintains the vision of a cleaner environment for generations to come while focusing on essential details and maintaining relationships to help the solar industry move forward.

Raphaela Hsu-Flanders

VP of Market Strategy

Raphaela Hsu-Flanders
Raphaela leads Solar Landscape’s market and policy team, providing state-specific analysis to inform company strategy for developing projects in markets across the country. She also oversees legislative and regulatory efforts to enable the growth of equitable community solar markets and to create opportunities for commercial and industrial rooftop projects. Prior to joining Solar Landscape, Raphaela worked for Bonneville Environmental Foundation, leading tribal and low-income community solar project development throughout the Pacific Northwest. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Reed College. Raphaela is driven by a love for the outdoors and a commitment to expanding renewable energy deployment.
