New Clean Energy Cost-Savings Option for Cranbury PSE&G Customers
By Cranbury Township
Cranbury residents can now enroll in a local community solar project through New Jersey’s Community Solar Energy Program to help reduce your energy bills.
Whether you rent or own your home, you can sign up for a community solar subscription with New Jersey-based developer Solar Landscape, to lower your electricity bills guaranteed without installing solar panels on your roof.
Many Cranbury families are already participating in Solar Landscape community solar. The state’s community solar program, which provides assistance on your energy bills, can be especially helpful with energy prices increasing 17% for all PSE&G customers in June.
How Does it Work?
You can enroll with Solar Landscape today to get a 31% discount on solar credits on your PSE&G bill by the end of 2025. You do not need to install panels on your home, and both renters and homeowners are eligible.
When you sign up, you’ll be assigned a share of a local community solar project and receive solar credits for your share of the clean energy generated, reducing what you pay for electricity. There are no fees to enroll, and PSE&G will remain your utility. There are no long-term commitments, your discount rate never changes, and you can cancel any time without penalty.
How To Get Started
To learn more or enroll, visit solarlandscape.com/nj/cranbury or call Solar Landscape at 732-589-7529 and use invite code CRANBURY. You’ll need to provide your PSE&G account number to sign up.
Projects with a 31% discount have limited availability, and enrolling now increases your chances of being assigned to a project. Anyone can enroll, with priority given to residents who qualify as low- to moderate-income.
We’re excited about how community solar can create a more affordable and sustainable future for Cranbury families!
