Solar Landscape starts first projects in 51-MW New Jersey community solar portfolio

Solar Landscape has begun construction on two community solar projects in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The installations begin less than three weeks after the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approved Year Two of the Community Solar Pilot Program projects on October 28.

This week, Solar Landscape is beginning to install solar panels on Endurance Real Estate Group warehouses that will generate nearly 2.2 MWDC of renewable energy. That energy will then be available to nearly 350 homes in the Mount Laurel area and 51% of all community solar subscribers will be low- to moderate-income households.
