As part of its commitment to achieve net-zero emissions across its operations and value chain by 2040, Prologis built a dedicated in-house energy platform to develop and deploy solar, battery energy storage, and electrification solutions across its global portfolio. To date, Prologis has deployed more than 1.4 gigawatt of onsite solar and storage capacity.

Prologis partnered with Solar Landscape to develop front-of-the-meter community solar projects across its U.S. logistics portfolio, transforming underutilized rooftop space into renewable energy infrastructure while creating additional value from existing assets.
The partnership combines Prologis' expertise in industrial real estate, energy strategy and deployment with Solar Landscape's vertically integrated development, engineering, interconnection, construction, and long-term asset management capabilities.
To deliver at portfolio scale, both Prologis and Solar Landscape are focused on the shared portfolio. Together, these teams coordinate continuously across policy, origination, development, engineering, interconnection, construction, and long-term operations, enabling rapid decision-making and consistent execution across more than 100 projects.
This highly integrated operating model allows community solar projects that meet front-of-the-meter energy demand to advance across multiple markets while minimizing disruption to building operations and preserving flexibility for future building electrification, battery storage, and tenant energy needs.
The portfolio currently spans 111 projects in various stages of development and operation totaling 232 MWdc across New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Illinois, representing approximately 30 million square feet of rooftop space.
By integrating community solar into commercial rooftops, Solar Landscape and Prologis are expanding access to renewable, affordable electricity at a time of rising costs. A significant portion of the portfolio's benefits are directed to low- and moderate-income households that have historically faced barriers to participation.
Once complete, the portfolio is expected to serve approximately 58,000 households and generate an estimated $14.3 million in annual subscriber savings.
The partnership contributed meaningfully to Prologis' achievement of its 1-gigawatt solar and storage milestone in 2025, reinforcing its position as one of the largest owners of onsite solar and storage in the United States while advancing its long-term goal of achieving net-zero emissions across its operations and value chain by 2040.
Beyond customer savings, the portfolio strengthens grid resilience by placing generation close to electricity demand, helping reduce transmission constraints and support grid reliability.
Operationally, the partnership shows how large-scale industrial real estate and distributed energy infrastructure can be integrated without disrupting tenant operations. Close coordination between Solar Landscape and Prologis allows projects to move forward across active logistics facilities while maintaining flexibility, strengthening long-term asset value and delivering economic and environmental benefits to local communities.
